Hello Oleg

I tested 109E4 and E4b at Sea Level. They should have maximum speed of 470 kph.

I tried both manual pitch, various settings and also automatic. Best manual was 430 kph, best auto was slightly less.

The E7b is exactly correct for sea level speed. It does 470 kph.

Thats intresting got about 480 km/h on first try with crimea rad closed rudder neutralised for E4.

E4 ~480
E4B ~450 Bombrack takes 20/30 Km/h ?

Seems similar problem to 190 bombrack issues or did the E4B lower rated engine for ground attack.

Salute Hyperion

You are right. Didn't apply rudder. Forgot that was so important to the 109's.

I got 470 kph. Amazing what a little rudder drag can do to slow you down.

Thanks for info.

The E-4B is undermodelled at all altitudes. The E-4 is right on. Though they all should rev higher (2450).
