Sorry to post a newbie type of question as my first contribution.

Does the dynamic capaign take into account the aircrafts range when generating a mission?

Currently I am carrying out an RAF mission in Pacific Fighters, but the target is almost right across the map. I have normally used half of my Hurricane's by the time I half-way to the target.
I have tried messing around with prop and throttle settings but I can't seem to get the efficiancy I need. Aircraft customisation and loadout wont allow drop tanks either.

Anyway thanks for your time.

Hi. I am assuming that you are flying RAF Hurricane Singapore 1942 campaign.
In that campaign iirc over 1/3rd of all missions (around 30 missions total in that campaign) are out of range missions.

I have already posted about this as being a (DGen) bug in Oleg's Ready Room Bug Reporting thread.
There is no way we can finish that missions.
Just take off and land after that, hit 'refly' and go to next mission.

Cheers I thought as much. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
So a bug of the generator and not a fundamental flaw of the dynamic campaign system.
I believe with conservative flying I can get to the target and back over the front and bail out in friendly territory but I don't think I'll waste the plane. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/icon_twisted.gif

You might possibly try watching this: http://www.zenoswarbirdvideos.com/P-40.html

No, it isn't a Hurricane, but the power settings for the engine should be close to the same. You just might figure out a way to make it to target and back to a friendly airfield. If not, at least you got some entertainment and some insight into flying a real warbird.

If you aren't familiar with Zeno's, check out their free videos. There are some really interesting films there.
