Happens to me all the time. I never survive a mid-air crash, the enemy never even has a scratch in his camouflage paint...

Simple solution both should die or both planes damaged at least 60 % . The way this is managed since years i never understood how a plane speed 800 900 km/h can just crash into another and no sign of damage appears.

Yeah, I've never understood how two planes can collide, one ends up destroyed and the other flies away without a scratch.

Nah, can't you see? He shot your wing away last second with his left cannon. It was all planned. One hell of a marksman! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Its simple really.

You're flying online...two planes go head to head. Both planes collide...except only one plane is told that it has collided with the other plane. The other plane is not told that the collision has taken place so it flies on and the first one crashes to the ground.

This is not specific to this game...its true for any multiplayer game nomatter how robust the code is. The results are obviously deadly for this game but maybe felt less in another game (i.e. in Quake the server does not agree about which bullets hit and which did not - but there is so many bullets that it doesn't matter - happens to us too!). This can be improved and the new BoB engine may more or less solve it in 99% of the time (instead of 98% of the time here) but its never going to be perfect until we have massive data throughput.
