What is the penalty for sinking a neutral ship? I tend to leave the Norwegien fishing boats alone but I ran into a 1939 convoy of mixed Brit and American ships. If a big fat C3 is flying an American flag but the deck is crowded with fighter with the British bullseye on the wing tips how can they be considerred neutral?

They're Neutral because they're American until January 1941. If you sink a Neutral ship you lose quite a bit of Renown for the patrol as well as all American ships hate you for at least 24 hours. See I've actually come to a patrol of American/British ships but the Escorts were American. I tried it out and surfaced, they didn't attack me. So I just wasted the **** out of the British ships and then disappeared.

Wow, I haven't seen an American escort yet. That would be so nice, having a juicy convoy full of British ships escorted by Americans who dont care if you sink every last British ship.

Anyway, I find it stupid you can't sink those neutral ships either. But at the same time, it's kinda unrealistic to even have American ships in convoys that early either.

Sink 'em all, and let Poseidon sort 'em out. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
