Yesterday occasionally I tested AI of SH3.
I sunk two tankers in convoy. Unfortunately shallow water didn't help me and two destroyers found me immediately. The only way to survive was place situated very close to wrecks.
Both DD pinged me and circulated all the time. Never tried to come too close due to parts of tankers !!!
Convoy sailed away but escort still waited for me ! Finally after three hours I had to attack them by torps.

Ah, a man after my own heart! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/clap.gif

So how did it turn out???

(I love the smell of burning DD's in shallow water...their little masts look so helpless poking out of the water)

I was not exactly below tanker (as picture shows) but very close.
I attacked destroyers by bow and stern torps tubes however they damaged me a little bit by deck guns.

Yes, of course some damage may occour but the Kreigsmarine has given us a formidable weapon. I like to use T1's on fastest speed at minimum depth. Let them circle until they turn and present their broadside to my tube...301 metres range is good. It lets them see their fate coming.

I practise using the Narvik single mission. Lots of DD's...

Lots of little masts sticking up out of the water...

The BB is just dessert!

I love the smell of fuel oil in the morning !
