That should be fine. I run a similer setup. 512mb of PC2700, AMD XP2000+, FX5700 regular. I get 40-50 fps average at maximum detail.

sorry if this sounds like a stupid question but 40-50 fps, is that good or bad, noticeable or does it run smooth? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

thanks

40-50 fps is fairly good. fps stands for frames per second. Many people here with high end systems get 80+ fps but I atleast can't tell the difference between 40 fps and 400 fps. Anything above 30fps is perfectly acceptable and anything over 40 fps is a waste of computer power. So 40-50 fps is silky smooth with power to spare http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif. Sometimes my PC gets bogged down at maximum time acceleration in a major shipping lane but that is the only time it has trouble. At lower acceleration the fps is still in the 40-50 fps range. And fps at maximum acceleration doesn't matter anyways as all you get to see is the map view, not much to look at IMHO.
