By default there is no key for chocks away so you have to select one.

Well, since Harriers take off vertically there's no real need for chocks.

Sorry about that. Go into your control set-up menu and find the key for chocks. Sorry, I can't remember what the default is.

The button is called 'Controls' and is located under the pilot name; the thing you are looking for is 'Toggle Chocks' - assign a key to it.

You will have to assign the key function in the game, I use "c" for the chocks

Harrier's not even flyable in LOMAC!!! (Come to think of it, I don't even think it's in LOMAC)

After you have loaded a mission and are sitting on the deck of the carrier, hit "Esc" and in the menu click the button that says "Controls." There is a list of every function. Several of them need key assignments, as they have none by default, such as "Wing Fold", "Lock Tail Wheel", "Release Chocks" ......

You may want to have a pen and paper ready, so you can write them down while you assign them. It might also help you to learn your custom keyset faster too.

Perhaps Harrier should have read He-L-IIIB2.

OK in game press esc that brings up the menus. select the controls one, you will see a list of controls.......... scroll up or down it till you find chocks.. on the left you will see keys that have been set for other items........ click on the blank space where the ket assigned for chocks is, it will open a little window.... press the key you want and it will assign it...... be warned if the key is assigned already it will tell you, i think i use something like homer or page up to do it.... when you have a key selected, scroll down and save.....should work now http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif good luck and good hunting.

will see you when you come back to ask why you keep crashing trying to get off the deck............. we all did, thats the fun of learning http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gifhttp://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gifhttp://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

It's an easy mistake to make they do look sort of alike (If it is a moonless night in the middle of the ocean http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif)

Try my "Straight From the Farm" campaign (see link below). It will walk you through takeoff and landing procedures, including what keys you need to set up.
