I just finished reading this gem of a book by Mitch Albom and i can't believe how much i enjoyed it. Brought up lots of emotions. If you havn't read this book i recommend you do NOW!

I wonder, has anyone here read his other books "Tuesdays with Morrie" or "For one more day"? I just read the blurb for "For one more day" and that alone touched me, but i didn't have the money to buy it. So anyone have opinions on this?

thanks<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I've heard good reports about Morrie.
But I cannot bring myself to read anything by somebody called Mitch...
(yep, my problem, I know...)

Well for one more day, my sister got that for her birthday present. Looks kind of a touchie book http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif.

I'm more into history/military books. Try Castles of steel by Robert K Massie. It's about WWI sea battles. It's really a great book.

PS: To Lt.Davis and Kiteman. I lost contacts to both of you. Internet connection was down for over a year and i somehow i just lost your contacts on the messenger. Contact me via renaldi_hirawady@yahoo.com. I use ym now. Thx<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

"I didn't buy an F-14B model. I bought an F-14B fuselage fitted with swing wing and cockpit instrument accompanied with a significant amount of bits and pieces. And of note it looks like it wants to have s** when put on slippery surfaces."

Loved his 'Peter the Great' really brought the era and it's characters to life. Then there's Barbara Tuchman's 'A Distant Mirror'.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Never read the book but I saw the TV movie, which was quite good. Don't read much fiction these days. Except for politicians making promises in print, I guess that would qualify as reading fiction. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif<div class="ev_tpc_signature">
