Title says it all.

In on-line campaigns, the AI FLAK does not fire at all, and the AI planes don't act normal.

Is all this being fixed?

1. The flak works for me.

2. The AI have always had cheater FMs.

FLAK works in standard online games.

However, when specifically using the ONLINE CAMPAIGN, Flak does not fire.

I thought this thread was going to be about how any consequential amount of flak lags the game to hell.

no lag from Flak at all for me. It's just there's NO FLAK at all in online campaigns.

Droz:

I've noticed this as well in the few online coop campign missions I've flown. Still doing some tweaking to see if there's a work-around, because as is, the missions aren't very realistic. My squad mates and I flew our Wildcats over two Japanese carriers on an escort mission (torpedo bombers)...absolutely no flak or CAP fighters. And the bombers strafed the carriers instead of dropping torps...hmmmm.

Good to know I'm not the only one experiencing issues like this.

Hmmm...
I'v doone a few co-op missions and the flak is always shooting at us, and no lag noticed. But no campaign as of yet- we're still learning the game. I'll see what happens when we start one (very soon)

Swiss, we're talking about the multi-player coop campaign generator here. In the game, click the "multiplayer" button, then the "create server" button. For the kind of server, select online campaign. That's what Droz and I are concerned about.

Just for fun, I opened one of the ngen missions in the FMB and found that all of the ships were "rookie" level and worse, the carriers were on "sleep" for 60 minutes! No wonder there wasn't any flak.

Does anyone know how to tweak the online multiplayer campaigns to correct this? Thanks.

ROFLMAO!!!

Are you serious? Sheesh....man they really need to fix that.

On sleep for 60 minutes? Good lord...lol.

Hi,

Talking of online games, anyone noticed the AI 'poipoising' about during co-ops?

You can spot a human player a mile off as they don't look like flipper zooming past. I've not noticed this being so bad offline...

Cheers,
Norris
