View Full Version : New Guadalcanal campaign

Hi all!
I have made a 12 mission campaign flying the F4F-3 Wildcat in Guadalcanal. It takes place in 1942 and allthough the planes are about right and it´s all made with realism in mind, the campaign is no recreation of history. It aims to excitement and immersion, a nice experience of Pacific Fighters.

Also includes coops of all missions in the campaign, most of them are for 3-4 players and only USNavy.

Just uploaded to the official site and www.netwings.org (http://www.netwings.org)

ps. Tested extensively to make sure its nice http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Not showing up yet at Netwings. It sometimes takes them a while to digest new uploads. Did you load it to the new PF section or to FB? Sounds like a great campaign, and I'm sure a lot better than the Dgen.

The PF section...
It´ll be up by tomorrow I hope, suppose I was a little hasty on posting it coming http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I've been waiting 2 weeks to get my AEP 2.04 Luftwaffe single mission pack (also compatible with AEP+PF3.0 of course) to be posted there.

I think they are just busy.

I've been reading 'The Cactus Airforce' so am interested in this campaign...

I think most of the mission builders are waiting for new stuff with the patch before putting out any missions

there is just so much to play with now it's hard to know where to start..... I bet that several 'midways' and Pearl harbor ones will be out soon

Its up in the Pacific Fighters Missions section at Netwings now. Apologies for any delays (and to Icefire). I am suffering severe vision problems currently which somes delay my processing of the library

Confirmed, just downloaded it. Looking interesting. Oh, and there's a new ETO duo campaign on the FB download side that looks first class: Liberation Skies with both Mustang and Jug versions. A lot of work went into that one. There's also a new Russian Havoc pair of missions in the A-20 that are pretty challenging. I think we're going to be getting a lot of presents for Christmas. It ought to keep us off the streets, at least for a while.

Got it! Much appreciated indeed. I've always preffered user-made campaigns over randomly generated ones.

Don´t know if you mean VW-Icefires campaign or mine...
Anyway I´m currently working on another campaign, fictional and much larger... It will require PF+FB+AEP though...

Also, after reading around I discoved some things that will make the next one better and more realistic http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
