Last few times I've went into the Forths and Loch Ewe have seen some variation of these:

Issues:

1.) Ships already burning or sunk upon entering the port.

2.) AI - Escort ships will bank themselves in shallow water or in some cases crash into the docks and get stuck and/or sink.

3.) Ships (both merchant and capital ships) that are "morphed" into the docks. Cannot be targeted or sunk.

I genuinely love this game, but the "ships in port" feature included with the last patch seems more like a rushed afterthought than anything else. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

I agree, but dunno about the "rushed" part. I like the idea of the ships in port, also Axis ports BTW, but it sure needs some work. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I know what your getting at, it takes the edge of the feature somewhat. But, its just great that the devs actually put this feature in. They could've just waited until the future expansion, I suppose.

I'll be honest here and say that this is TYPICAL of Ubi/the devs.

I mean, have we ever gotten a new feature that wasn't bugged to ****? The subnets create a terrifying screeching sound whenever some people get close and now this... they can't do anything right the first time.

I believe you are experiencing what was called the "Philadelphia experiment". It was a few scientist fooling around with warping the time continum. Lore has it men did travel in time, upon returning, they were encased half in the steel structure of the ship. There was claims that a ship travelled in time from Norfolk VA. When the ship reappeared, alot of the crew was encased within the ship. So I guess the apparations you are getting here is the experiment.

Check out this site and you will get the idea.

Truly, just game glitch.

I buried (morphed) my brand new IXb up to the conn in a Lorient harbour wall where it stuck fast. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif These incredibly minor glitches are more to smile about than to get upset about, 8 or 9 ships out of 10 in any port are sinkable, just concentrate on those. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
