OK i know these Qs have been asked b4 but please help?

1st I am using a com with 512mb ddr ram, an intel inside 2.66ghz and a vid card that is GrOfrce FX 5600 with latest drivers. Do you people think if i should run il2 with Open GL or Direct 3D and WHY CHOOSE THAT

Next i am using a microsoft sidewinder force feedback 2, for all those that use it can you tell me the best calibrating results/numbers for this joystick for this game...THANKS ALOT GUYS

2. I used that stick for over a year at the stock settings with no problems
