SO I was on amazon UK trying looking for the comics and I stumbled across these. (see links) The name is different from the "Normal Comics"
(for lack of a better term) and seems to be about Desmond, but they are in French http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif Can anyone anyone tell me what these are about and if they can be bought in English?

From what I hear there not in english. Also they appear to not be apart of the story to as a lot of things are different from the games.Unlike the books which can be fixed easily.

The ancestor to in this box can also be taken with a grain of salt.COnsidering the book is non-canon t's up for debate if one could say the rome assassin here is an ancestor of Altair.

a piece of eden that brings ppl back to life, hmm. then if that was put in the game ud probably see Altair, Ezio, and the new assassin helping desmond. id rather they stay away from that story but would be funny to see

I don't think the comics are canon.

It really doesn't fit in at all with the story, it's kinda "out there" and doesn't make a lot of sense.

It's the Pice of Eden 66, the Shroud (http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Shroud). As far as I know it may, however, only revive people who died lately. It can also be used to heal injuries. Known users (in the Assassin's Creed universe) were Giovanni Borgia, Marcus Junius Brutus, Jesus Christ, Niccol di Pitigliano and a few more. The latter was killed by the Shroud. Oh, and Mario Auditore, Ezio's uncle, retrieved it from somewhere in Monteriggioni.

yea i know about the shroud but i thought it only healed ppl, even ppl close to the brink of death. not completely heal the dead.

It did heal Jesus... he was crucified and wrapped in the Shroud, it revived him and two days later he was seen wandering about....

Yeah these are older French comics about AC I think there are two volumes but they aren't considered to be canon. Ubisoft didn't have anything to do with the production I'm pretty sure but they feature Subject 16, Desmond, and other ancestors I believe.
