I need a little help :-/

I've just bought Pacific Fighters. But when I fly some US-plains, let them start from a carrier, I can't let them turn in their landding-gears (that only function in AutoPilot). It is a but? (Untill now, all ather plains work fully operational...) If so, which patch I have to donwload?

Thanks many times

André

The F4Fs I assume you mean, they have manual operation of gear. Assign a key in controls and rais/lower with about 40 presses, until the cockpit gear lights change.

"If so, which patch I have to donwload?"

if you have the merged fb / aep / pf get 304m. If you have just pf get 304.

Boy i dont know if autopilot brings up the gear or not but if you fly you must set a key for raising and lowering gear and on some planes you do it manually as said above.

Welcome and have fun!

Few things may be bothering you http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
First maybe it is that you can not take off from carrier -- take a look at your "Controls" section and assign a key to function "Release Chocks".(chocks are preventing your aircraft from moving while on carrier deck, but also if you do not release them, you can not take off).

Second thing, if you happen to fly Corsair (F4U) then when you landing you can deploy Airbrakes, and with doing that you are also lowered your landing gear. All you need to do is extend your tail hook and deploy landing flaps.

Also on some American aircraft you can not deploy flaps while in flight (actually you can but they go in their previous state immediatelly) -- F4F Wildcat is example.

<span class="ev_code_YELLOW">Also, on F4F you must manually rise/lower your landing gear.</span> To do that, you must first assign a proper key in "Controls" section to "Rise Gear Manually" and "Lower Gear Manually". I reccomend that you assign only one key to that action because you must type it many times in order to rise/lower gear.

If you are running FB+PF than download and install 3.04m (that is merged version).
If you have PF *only* than download and install 3.04.

I think this is what may be bothering you. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Didn't I read somewhere that when flying the F4U, one SHOULD NOT, repeat, SHOULD NOT, attempt to use landing gear as landing gear if they have been deployed by the air-brake function, the reason being they might collapse since there is a split of hydraulic pressure between the 'gear and the other components of the air brake system. Yeah, I did read that somewhere! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif
