Anyone else noticed this?
I got spotted by an elco torpedo-boat by the english coast.
I hid in the depths and waited for it to give up and head away...
After a while it started burning for no apparent reason, and now it's circling around looking for me whilst on fire. Looks really silly.
Is this because it takes damage in rough weather or is some sort of bug?

It's because the British allows alcohol on their vessels and that was an example of Driving Under the Influence at sea. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/1072.gif

Confirmed. It is because of the U-boat blockade that they try and run the boats on alcohol and the engines overheat and catch fire. They are supposed to only use 30% power but when they see a U-boat at 18 knots they just can't resist putting pedal to the metal just to prove they were worth the command of that DD.....
