I know I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, so maybe someone can explain something that has been bothering me.

Producing a professional grade software package like GWX requires several thousand man-hours, a considerable investment in hardware and programming tools, and dozens of other ancillary expenses: .....Just how are the Developers of GWX compensated for their efforts??

The GWX upgrade is a package that I would have HAPPILY paid $89.95 for in a retail store: ....So if there's a "hat" somewhere that we're supposed to be dropping our spare change into, ...I want to make sure I contribute my fair share! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

They do not accept money for it. Contribution to Subsim.com are accepted. Go on over there and inquire. They really did it for the love of the game and guess what, they are making an update for January

Sorry, cheap plug for Subsim.com but that is was told to those willing to pay...<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

The last thing I heard as the British boarded my boat, "Boot hoch halten sonst wird keiner gerettet!"....Keep the boat afloat or no one will be rescued! My war was over....

It's like college football and professional football.

College players play for the love of the game. They will play a good game for nothing. Like Modders upgrading SH3 for nothing.

Prefeesional players will play like **** all season long and still get paid.

This sounds like a good idea, maybe the contributions could be turned into money to make a special plaque for the GWX team if Neal Stevens would be so kind to do that.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">
