Ah... you mean "system requirements". That would be "system req.".

You really need a better graphics card. And another 512Mb or RAM would be welcome.

It would be playable. However, you wouldn't be able to use Excellant settings.

You'l be lucky to run it on med settings.

If you have the money, buy you'r self a new VGA card. Look for a 16 pipline 800X, 6800GT, and or 6800Ultra.

Now ive my old one back, are the system reguirements like the syst. regs. from "Lock on"?!

That should be fine, but don't expect the fancy water details. Of course you already know that cause you don't get them in AEP with that card. PF is really just AEP with some new maps, planes and objects. Whatever settings you can run AEP at you should be able to run PF at.

kaeufer, your processor is just fine but the other posts are correct about the vid card and RAM. You can add another 512M of RAM for pretty cheap these days. For the video I'd look around on the web for an ATI Radeon 256M 9800 Pro. Since they released the newer gear the 9800 256M Pro can be found for around two hundred bucks. With that you shoulc be able to play Pacific Fighters at "Sweetness" detail level <ggg.> All the best, LongHorn

and whats more important, videocard or ram?

cos i dnt have so much bucks yet,i bought a new joystick and PF http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif(1st buy then ask http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif )

and is it really important to buy new things, can i play it without a new vid card and more ram?

for example: ILL-2 and Lock On works realy good on my pc

I would say, that the main bottle neck is you'r VGA card.

I have upgraded to 1 gig from 512mb and saw very little improvement. Loading time was much faster though.

My point, get you'r self a decent card, and you will be able to enjoy the game.

9700 or a 4600ti will run it pretty good.

I have the 4600ti and get on average 30 FPS in C/P using the highest settings in FB.

LonHorn has a good point. The 9800 pro should run the game very nicely.

I think both of you who are asking should be able to run Excellent settings. What you won't be able to handle will be the Perfect settings (0, 1, 2, or 3) with the pixel shaded water.

But you're still getting a whole lot of visual eye candy even so. Just not as fancy as some of the newer systems.

The FX5700 is quite a good card in comparisons so you may be able to play with Perfect settings. But that will require some time, tweaking, and you'll have to expect lower performance.

As PF is quite different from IL2 FB AEP, there should be technical support forum exclusively for PF.

To run PF at full perfects settings we will need a well balanced hardware. CPU + GPU + Ram.

I think that the minimum system to run PF at 25min FPS and full settings will be something like CPU>3Ghz and Geforce 6800GT. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Dont expect to play it at 1600*1200 FSAA 6x and AA 16x before 2 or 3 years http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif
