So there I was, chatting on MSN last night, and an email came. So I opened it, and it says I've been offered an admission into McMaster university here in Ontario... They said earliest date when admissions are sent out is mid-April, I totally wasn't expecting that. Well, adult life, here I come. I don't even know if i should be happy or sad about it...

Btw, to motivate me to get into university, my dad promised me a laptop http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif So right now I don't know which one to get, one to type lectures on, or one that can handle SH3 during those same lectures http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Hey, well done, Foehammer! Is MacMaster local to you? Hamilton?

(I was watching MacMaster's Volleyball team lose to Queen's in the OUA Final here in Kingston last Friday)

The need to type lectures comes and goes: ......You will be a Kaleun for all your life! ....Go for the graphics card and the memory! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

Take it from me!! (55 years old.) http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif

Well done..
And make the most of it...

My eldest has got a scholarship for the rest of his school 'career' (grade 8-12/Std 6-10 in the old terminology). And he needs a laptop next year - what next??
The wife and I are quite phased as this is a 5K a month school, and we pay a minimal fee. There are no expenses spared here. Laptop here... laptop there.. the students say "Yes Sir", "Yes Maam".
Strict discipline you know.... C99 will be happy to know it's run by a German husband and wife team http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Congratulations! Just remember, school first, simming second. Unless, of course, said simming is for school purposes. (Flight Sim for flight school in my case.) Work hard, it's worth it!

Yeah, far better to give into peer pressure and conform to the group instead of being your own person.

Hahaha, thanks guys, good replies, good humor http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif I don't think I'll install any games on that thing, cause it will be too hard to resist the temptation http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif And yes, it is close, I live in Burlington, it will take about 20 minutes to get to the university by bus (I don't drive yet http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif )
