Surely if you'd built a time machine in the future you would already have traveled back and given it to yourself...

Anyway, I'd like to borrow it once you're done, thank ya. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Q1 of 2011 seems so far away at this point. lol

You mean like cause a paradox and unravel the fabric of space-time causing the utter destruction of the universe? Fly into the future and discover that your absence in the present caused your family to become templar dictators? Travel to the past to stop yourself from getting hurt, but then return to the present to discover that because you didn't get hurt, you didn't learn your lesson and did something crazier that killed you?

But a 3rd of us AC fans have to wait 4 more months, the upside to that is, we get all the console DLC extras intergrated out-of-the-box. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I agree. I nearly laughed when one guy on Youtube said his high end PC could out-perform any console. Of course he was talking about Graphics. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

Honestly, I don't care if ACB is for the PC, PS3, 360, or The N-Gage. If I want to play it badly enough, I'll play it.

Wait, I'm confused... would the time traveling you not just instantly seize to exist if you later did something that killed you because you didn't learn your lesson from the time you didn't hurt yourself?.

Aaarrgh, time traveling gives me a sore head.

I also heard that! Somewhere around 15 hrs of single player gameplay. Does anyone know if this 15 hrs includes or excludes side quests?

Zokuno
10-28-2010, 11:17 PM
There's about 15 hours of single player (normal missions I think) then there is side missions and the 100% sync thing where you have to "do the same" as Ezio did. I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that it has up to 40 hours of single player game play with these things included.

extrememuffin
10-28-2010, 11:18 PM
50+ hours to obtain 100% sync. that includes all side missions, feathers, flags, etc

davo1270
10-28-2010, 11:36 PM
^^^^^^ actually it was 42+ hours, not 50+

XxKillaSniperxX

UbiGabe @MissTFayed Critical path playthrough is about 25+ hours. 100% Synch completion is more like 50+ hours. There's tons to do!
2 days ago in reply to MissTFayed

UbiGabe @MissTFayed Keep in mind, 25+ hours is the fastest it could be completed doing only the things that you absolutely have to do.

That's a big change from the initial statements the devs made. Some of them claimed it was 15 hours for the storyline and 22+ for 100%.

But 50+ hours for 100% is awesome, this truely is a game for completionists... like me. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Indeed..

Your all not wrong..

WE were told 15 hours.. seems they have been busy little bees... adding in a 'little' more.. LOL http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I did query the 15 hours, after seeing a preview which said the guy had played 35 hours.. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_redface.gif

End of the day.. I don't see anyone complaining about it being too long.. LOL

Actually, it's good that it has more than 15-20 hours of total play-time.
I could throw away my life again for AC: Brotherhood. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Anyway, I'm just glad it'll not be too short, but not too long either.

overall i sunk like 35+ hours into ac2, i have no fears about game length for brotherhood http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

that said though, for brotherhood i'm getting it on pc so i have to wait http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/bigtears.gif

I'm on the same boat, the only thing I've enjoyed playing recently was Prototype but even then I always find myself being drawn back to ACII. I'll probably still play ACII even after Brotherhoods release though.

So it's more like AC 2.75 !

According to Steam I have 165 hours of AC2 played. LOL ! Guess I really enjoyed it

AnthonyA85
10-29-2010, 09:29 AM
it took me just over a week to do AC2 (but i only recently finished all the contracts, won't bother with races), just under a week to do AC1. 50+ SP gameplay for everything? That will probably take me.....about 2 weeks, as long as those Romulus shrines don't prove too dificult. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

eoj19

OUTSTANDING!! This I great news for me, as I had my fingers crossed that AC:B would not be too short (like a certain tom clancy game that I know http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif ).

MAJOR thanks to all who helped answer my question http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif

But much like Robson mentioned, I too am a completionist, so you can imagine how terribly excited I am about all this great news for the additional hours of gameplay in AC:B.

This really is awesome news. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I completed everything on AC1 on both PS and Xbox except for like one or two feathers I couldn't find.
Got a 100% on AC2 and I have two other sessions just for messing around.
I have found that it is more fun to complete the story arc first and not touch the side quests at all. In fact this last time I didn't even open the view points. After the story it gets boring so having side quests waiting is good.
Probably wont be an issue this time with story mission replayability (sucked getting to play DLC missions once then having to restart from the beginning to play them again)and multiplayer.

I pre-ordered online to have it mailed to my house, so does that mean I'll have to wait another few days? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif Any help? I pre-ordered at Play.com.

I am pretty sure its meant to be delivered for the release date. I know with the play I pre-ordered from, if it is not delivered on release days, you dont have to pay delivery fees(yay), so I am kinda hoping it shows up a day late for me.

hey Ubisoft does this mean you could actually ship it out a bit earlier then its release date (please i want this early then the 18th) so you can kick black ops butt (im not saying the other word for butt because there might be kiddies around) and say to my COD loving friends ACB is kicking Black ops Butt release it on the 13 or 14th so i can play it on the weekend (all around the world) so all players will be happy ubisoft if you do this you are GOD the ones who came from before please
