FiAF Hurricane Mk. I "HC-452" photo & video walkaround

The Defence Fair 2005 took place at Tampere, Finland, in autumm 2005. Three veteran pilots, Erkki Pakarinen, V√¬§in√¬∂ Pokela and Ky√¬∂sti Karhila, gave short presentations in the Finnish Air Force stand. Also present was Finnish Air Force Museum staff, with their glorious Hurricane Mk. I HC-452.

The Hurricane had been on show at Finnish Aviation Museum and on load at another museum, after it had spent more than a decade in the FAF Museum storage - where it now returned. These photos and video are the last public views of the plane for unknown period.

A "good" walkaroudn with detail shots will be on the same site sometimes later, when we get a decent system for walkarounds to the site.

That GREAT bird is in STORAGE? WTF? What a shame.

BTW, anyone know what gun that is? Not a .303, thats for sure. Looks more like a 20MM, but its out of place in front of a .303 armed Mk1.

That gun is unused MG 151/20 cannon, fresh out of the factory. UNUSED, never fired
