Help!!! I'm having trouble hosting a mulitplayer game in PF stand alone. I have my XP firewall disabled and my personal firewall disabled as well. In the lobby I can see people join my game, but when I start my game no one is able to join. Can anyone help me?

You need to open port 21000 UDP/TCP.

those ports are open...but I have them both incoming and outgoing..is that right?

You shouldn't need to explicitely open them outbound. Maybe your personal firewall is screwed up? I've seen ZoneAlarm do this sometimes.

In that case, what do you suggest I do? I disabled my personal firewall (Sygate), shouldn't that allow me to host?

How do you connect to the internet? Are you opening those ports on your router, because you need to if you have one?

I'm connecting via cable modem, T1 connection. I don't have a router.

If you are trying to host IL2/PF at Ubi.com (I'm not sure that your are), There is a FAQ for the Ubi.com Game service.

It specs different/addtional ports than IL2's 21000. Maybe those would help if you were previously trying hosting on the Ubi game service.

TCP 80: Usual Web Port
TCP 6667: Usual Chat Port
TCP 40000-42000: Required Port for ubi.com
UDP 44000, 41005, 41006, 45000, 45001 outbound for ubi.com

Good Luck,
