Of course it was ironic, it is like the death of Juri Gagarin (first man in space), getting killed by a plane.
You only said what everybody was thinking.

It's strange how some drivers who led dangerous lives on the tracks died in off track accidents. Colin isn't the only one, Graham Hill (father of former F1 champion Damon Hill) died in a light plane crash, and not in F1, and former multi times world Motor cycle Grand Prix Champion, and Ex F1 driver, Mike Hailwood, he died when some lawbreaking dumb truck driver tried to turn round on a motorway in front of him. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif
What I'm pleased to see is the level of maturity the rest of you are showing at this time, on some sites there are unfeeling idiots posting only about their fears for the game franchise, how sick can they be at a time like this to only worry about a game. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif

Dito, the next game should be like a honouring to his work (ok maybe there are better drivers, but this ain´t the point) with the cover black and the pictures of him, his son and his son friend on it.
(or at least on the back with dedicated to...)
