Just wondering where there really black and white high speed cameras fast enough back in the 1950's to take such a clear picture?

I have it on good authority (PPrune) that this image is from the 1950s and is therefore pre-photoshop.

The most likely explanation is that the aircraft was up on jacks for maintenance, the engineer was posed for the photograph and the jacks were removed with an airbrush.

It's unlikely to be real IMO - where is the pilot for a start?
