Really? Wow. O.o
I've been appreciating the irony of him compared to Dragon Age II.

<span class="ev_code_RED">***Endgame spoiler warning!***</span>
<span class="ev_code_WHITE">He killed dozens of people and participated in bombings;
and his name's Anders. ANDERS.

DA2's Anders blew up the Chantry and killed dozens.
OUCH.</span>

Soo, derp, to this guy? As bad as his crime was, we can't help observing odd details such as these. Lol.

The thing I hate most about this guy is that he actually supports a Dutch politician (one that I detest). I guess this is what you get when you go around blaming groups of people for things individuals chose to do.

Sorry Jawa. I didn't wanted to offend anyone with this thread.
Well, at least Ubi got something right: the templars are the bad guys http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

You're a sick bastard.

You hate this guy more for sharing beliefs simular to those of Geert Wilders, then for killing nearly 80 people, and blowing up a building?!

You dont have to call him a Bastard, he said the thing he hates most about the guy, not the only thing he hates most, so he probably still despises him for his inhumane actions.

I find it slightly ironic that LightRey says:

<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content">I guess this is what you get when you go around blaming groups of people for things individuals chose to do. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

And then someone jumps to conclusions and calls him a sick bastard, despite not completely reading what he said.

(By the way, I'm not siding with the ignorant guy, I'm just pointing out where he looks dumb. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif)

It's the thing I hate most, because he uses it to justify his actions. I hate that he's killed innocent people, but what I hate even more is the fact that others have in a way told him that what he was doing was right.

I actually read exactly what he said.
He said that he hates Breivik more for sharing beliefs with a Dutch politician, then for killing people.

I think that politician is actually right at some points. Not as extreme, much less so.

Taking LightRey's words, that would mean I'm just as bad as Breivik is.

But by saying that, he isn't stating that the incident was any less worse, so stop being melodramatic.

This is truly a travesty that no one was able to catch and stop Breivik before he could commit these acts.

It also goes to show what a dogma of war and misinterpretation will do.

Remember, brothers -- "Nothing is true, and everything is permitted." The Assassins of history knew full well the price of mixing the affairs of heaven with those of Earth, though unfortunately they took the Taqiyya in 1275.

I should think it now falls to us to remember that no doctrine of extremism or eradication is worth the eventual price and that we too must beware our own hatreds and prejudices, lest we fall from the cliff that Breivik did and kill hundreds in the fall.

Eyes open, brothers -- evil is still out there, waiting to take the unaware.

"I like all kinds of colors, but I like red the most."

By saying that, I'm saying all other colors aren't as nice as red is.
This means that no other color is equal to red.

Compare this to what Lightrey said.
He thinks it is worse that he shared beliefs with a politician, and that that might have played a role in his attack...
Then the fact that he actually killed all those children.

just watched the vid.. so breivik thinks that muslims are his real enemy? god, he doesn't even know what he's dealing with! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

gogo assassins! lets go fetch desmond and train him up a little earlier than scheduled and let him assassinate breivik, just so that the massmurdering nub can see what he's really dealing with xD

When I read that on CNN, I had a HUGE "WTF" face on me. The Templars' he claims to be a part of had a completely different manifesto than the Crusaders of old. They never were made to purge the Muslims like he said -_- It was created to protect Christian artifacts and places of worship.

He seems more like an AC Templar though. One who believes the only way to correct the world is through manipulation, no free will, and violence to the mass. It sucks at times like these to see how far humanity can drop

This story makes me wonder if Ubisoft is going to incorporate Breivik into a glyph puzzle in ACR, like they did with the BP oil spill in ACB, to stay "current". It probably won't be worth the controversy it will stir up, though

Well they do have something to do with communism. They had something to do with many of the communist revolutions and seemed to support the (basic) idea. However, the only real flaw communism has (imo) is the fact that it is so very vulnerable to corruption. Communism itself is based on socialist ideals that many (if not most) can identify themselves with. It just requires (almost) everyone (especially the leaders) to act in the interest of the entire society.
