Just wanted to bring this wonderful campaign back into the spotlight for all of those who may not have been around when it first came out a few months ago. This campaign as well as the Espagne campaign are MASTERPIECES http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif Storylines, skins, mission structure, ground details, air traffic, etc. are all amazing. IMHO these two campaigns highlight the incredible results that are possible when great skill, patience, and research are combined with skillful use of the FMB. Check it out at mission 4 today!

I reflew the Berlin night mission last night and spent 30 minutes or so just checking out all the additional ground details and simply enjoying a fun flight. I really enjoy the storyline of this campaign and the inclusion of missions that are required in war but are not so glamerous - ferrying, dispatch, training, etc. I've played through the campaign a few times now but this is my first runthrough with full switch http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I checked the link and it says that you will need a skinpack from Gaston's "Campana Espana". Where can I get it?

FlatSpinMan

@mattinen - it is available from Airwarfare/Mission for Today" under "featured campaigns". It is a big file but will give you just about every skin you could imagine for the Spanish Civil War. The skins really do add a lot of character and colour to the campaign, for sure.
Here is a link to some pics I posted a while ago. Scroll down about halfway.

@Enforcer- the link Beebop provided should do it. If not, I can upload it on yousendit.com or something.

Glad to hear people are having fun with it. makes it worthwhile.

Tried to find it on Airwarfare, but no luck. I tried to do a search on Airwarfare with "Campana Espana", but no gain. Can you please give a link.

Last night I copied mission 4 (the Berlin night mission) to my single mission folder and edited it so I'm flying a 109E/B instead of the "HE-51" - its now my default "just flying around" flight. I've always been a big fan of the pre-war and early war aircraft...its fun to get to fly my beloved Emil and not get thrashed!

P-11 Ace - thanks for spreading the word, man. Much appreciated http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif.

I went to Mission4today, but the the files download as a .rar file.

How do you open these?

Thanks

Tribunus;

Welcome to the Forums.
You can download WinRar here:

WinRar (http://www.win-rar.com/download.html)

It's as easy to use as WinZip and can actually do a better job of compressing.

If you need anything else, just ask. We're here to help.

So where is your stuff, P-11? I'm fairly busy these days but I'm keen to help a brother out. Send 'em my way http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif. Anything new is always good. And the FMB's easy, it all depends on how much time you are willing to spend placing objects that 99% of people won't even download, let alone notice. Once you decide to do it so that you yourself are staidfied the it becomes fun, like building a model town or something ('cept with more fire and exploded tanks than the average town http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/784.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/icon_twisted.gif)

I'll upload some stuff soon - just need to polish it abit. Like I said I'm an early war/prewar fan and most of my missions are "training" missions in or around Berlin to some ranges and such I have set up in the countryside. I also have a bunch of misisons set up using biplanes and some of the ww1 skins that are available - balloon busting, photo-recon, etc. I cannot wait for knights of the sky. I have OFF installed but to be honest am not too thrilled with it.

throw in some paddock landings and takeoffs from roads .. thats one thing the early war birds do much better than their later cousins

I set up a second monitor on my computer at work that is angled away from my office door so I run the FMB on that monitor and my "work" stuff on my primary - the boss never asks why I've got the same data on the spreadsheet all day http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif Ahh its good to be the IT guy http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/typing.gif
