How do you tell the difference between what has already been renovated and what still needs to be?

The icons that are shaded are the ones that aren't renovated.

You can't renovate important buildings such as the Pantheon or the Colloseum, you can only buy them http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

But the structure of the build isn't improved when renovated...

Open the game and try to buy colloseum, it will say Colloseum Renovated and not Colloseum Bought.

Explain me why now? -.-

Yes, it does say renovated, but it isn't. Repairing those buildings would simply be historically inaccurate, as they weren't renovated in real-life at this time. I know that some parts of the game are inaccurate as well, but... I don't know, repairing such famous things would be a bit too much I guess.

I would like to renovate them, maybe it's just me? Seeing the colloseum in his golden times and with gladiators battles? it would be wonderfull xD

Or the thermals http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_redface.gif

But, again, that would be entirely inaccurate.

Does anyone else think the renovations were a pain in ACB btw? I think they massively overdid it. "Well, they liked renovating the villa, so let's make them renovate AN ENTIRE CITY, they'll love that" ...and it sort of failed.

I don't care about those inaccurates, we have fragmention grenades and flashbangs... we have piece of edens and there are "gods"...

Why couldnt we have a renovated colloseum?

You remember Ac1? Desmond talking to Vidic?

Desmond: I think the animus is not working properly, somethings looks out of place.

Vidid: All you know is from books, have you ever questionated your self who writted them? You have a 100% accuary machine in your front.

That-s how they explained why altair in 1191 killed guys that died before or after 1191 in the "real world".

Why couldn't the colloseum be totally working in 15th century? how can we be sure it wasn't full "renovated" in those times? Only animus could tell us the truth and not wikipedia or books http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

well, we might as well have working helicopters and rocket ships then too.

afterall, rumor as it assassins of the 15th and 16th centuries used the internet to communicate.
