I new that title would catch an eye or two. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Ok, two years ago I made a few skins for some planes. I decided I wanted to make a few more but I can't remember exactly how I did it. I know I only used MSpaint before. The problem is, I keep losing the details, such as rivets and skin jams. What am I doing wrong?

You need a program that supports Layers:

GIMP does:

http://www.flightsimguides.com

They can help you out.

Maybe I was using photoshop. Does that sound right?

PhotoShop supports layers, but you'll need templates:

http://jesters.1java.org
http://www.flying-legends.net

For templates

Becasue these are already layered.

I simply used the "void" skins from the game.
