Hi guys,

I'm currently playing IL2 1946 et al., and was wondering...how do I turn on the runway lighting, i.e. fire cans...etc? I'm having a heck of a time finding the correct rwy heading to land in the winter and at night.

At this time, I do a 'missed approach" for my bearings, noting any land marks (road bends...etc) to help line up on final, however this is a pain.

Secondly, is there a artifical horizon on the BF-109 F2? I go into clouds and loose my situational awareness very fast. My only means of registering descent is a increase in airspeed and the peripheral readout.

Many thanks...

Dewey

To my knowledge, you can't control runway lighting in the game. But you certainly can add your own when you build missions with the FMB (full mission builder).

About the 109 artificial horizon? Don't know the real story on this...

as far as I know there is no AH on the 109E, I thought there was on the 109F.

Did a quick glance at the aircraft guide, never noticed this before, but the whole 109 series doesn't have an artificial horizon.

From the G2 onwards they all have an artificial horizon

Ok, it's not listed in the aircraft guide though. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/compsmash.gif
