I've installed Pf over FB/AEP, and the engine sound from the central speaker (in a 5.1 setup) has gone all quiet.

When I turn my head to the side, the volume in the left or right front speakers is much louder than that of the centre when looking straight ahead.

It was fine before I added PF, so was wandering if this was a bug, or something obvious that I've overlooked?

Also, how can I get my wingmen to show me some respect? I was promoted ahead of them, but that's because I am naturally more talented. If I catch them not covering me when I request, should I blow them out of the sky to teach them a lesson?

make sure you are not testing this in p39 and p400, they have engines in the back

It's in every single engined plane

I have the exact same problem.
I have messed with all the settings, and the only thing I can find that works is choosing QUADROPHONIC. Try the other ones...
It's definately an audio setting.

I cured it by running the sound on the default/ safe setting. Now everything is nice and loud and scary when a shell detonates right in front of your Beau cockpit http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_redface.gif

I have noticed that this problem is particularly noticible in the Seafire. Where the engine is almost silent when looking straight ahead.

The other noises are at the right level, and the engine is loud when i look to the left or right.

I just checked in QMB and the Seafire sounded ok. So I think it may only affect planes that start the mission on a carrier http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif
