I am really thoroughly pissed off about wasting my 50 on this game. Perhaps if I were able to play online, it would seem like better value, but as it is I can't. Why?

Because of the stupid, stupid parental controls, which aren't even turned on. I'm old enough to be playing the game, and my parents are fine with me playing online, so why in hell do Ubisoft prevent me from doing so?

I think it is disgraceful that I can only get at about half of the game, and Ubisoft's support is even worse; I'm getting no replies whatsoever. A big thumbs down to Ubisoft on this, and -1 customers. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_mad.gif

Have u tried checking the parental controls on your PSN account?

If im not mistaken u have the PS3s own parental control and you have a parental control built into PSN accounts too(might be just for sub accounts but i know their there

Yes, like I say, we tried turning absolutely everything that could be causing a problem off, but to no avail.

U sure? if your account is a sub account to your parents they would need to set the control i believe through there account.

Try playing it using an account with an age of 18+. The game may automatically stop younger players from going online.

I don't want to play on the master account though, I want to play on mine. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Go into the settings and change your birthdate?

Not sure if that works, but it seems like that's what's stopping you.

How can I change my birthdate? I looked in all my settings but could find nothing, would it be in the master account settings?

I actually have no idea.

You could try making a new account with a new birthdate, just name it something similar. (Like add a '_v2' to the end or something)

U dont have to, if its not your accounts bday stopping u from playing online then log into your parents master PSn account and go to Account settings and go to "Manage sub accounts" All options for restricting non restricting you own(Sub)account should be there.

Yes, I've turned off absolutely anything that could be preventing me from playing, so I'm really not sure what the problem is.

Is there any law that allows me to sue them for preventing me from accessing all the content or something? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/784.gif

And submit your problem. If you don't hear back, I would call Ubisoft and ask about the problem and getting a replacement disc - Tel: +1 (415) 547 4000

Good luck!

You're not nissing much, they didn'y bother to finish the online game. The sound glitches drive you mad, comms dont work, no lobbys, no real choice of maps, I could go on all night. To be honest it's disgraceful that it was so late for release and is still so poor. I will be very dubious about buying anything else from Ubisoft in the future if this is what can be expected from their quality control.

Yea, don't worry, your not missing anything.

Play singleplayer on realistic, finish the game, and sell it.
