Ivan, I saw your pics of the event. Man, do they just taxi all the planes right out there where you can practically touch them?!!? The sound must be truly awesome! I've only seen Warbirds live and in action a couple of times at EAA in Oshkosh--too crowded and I was only close to a taxi/take off once--for a B17. It looks like I'll be at Reading next year!

Yes, you can touch them, you can talk to pilots. You can take a ride on B-17 http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif for ... 450 bucks me thinks http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Came on Sunday and it was great! Got to say hi to the pilot of the T-6 with the blue tail, he's based at my airport, so I see him often. Was very much fun.

The one end of the strip was pretty crowded but we scrambled down to the other end where we could pretty much get right on the taxi line with only a few others. It was actually a really great spot because after the planes landed they taxied right past us...and parking was over by us too.

There will be other opportunities to show LS how much you care, I'm sure! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Finally got to see some of yas in that shot from Bearcat. So young! I sort of remember
being like that and other times it's like yesterday.

I was hoping to see yas dressed up and holding weapons! Or is that any of yuns down there
crewing that MG? Man, somebody shoulda set up a booth! Quality souveniers and all that!

Didja see the part where they were supposed to stage an attack on, was it a village?
Is that what the guy with the rifle up on the blue whatever there is?

And Bearcat got to meet and I guess talk with Bud Anderson! I wonder if the talk Bud
gave taught yas anything new?

Hey when was the last time you got such value for the time and effort? And I don't mean
catching a good rebate offer at Best Buys either! I don't think the old Trenton Fests
(before they got took over by what's-his-name and moved to Edison, ruined the 2nd best
fest in the US but there's still Dayton!) could touch that WWII weekend for circus value.
Well, if you never did hit the old Trenton Fests then please don't judge!
