The Volkswaffe should be in the sim too. It is fact that the Volkswaffe exsisted and saw combat againt B-17's. I want my Volkswaffe fighter!

Proof! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uk52tDKELdQ&feature=related

And hear is ultra rare footage of one being shot down.

Stats.
4 cylinder horizontaly opposed pancake motor air cooled 900cc matched to a 4 speed transaxle.

Top speed: 64Kph (On land) Flight data unknown
Rang: 284 Kilometers (Land use) Flight data ?
Capacity: 4 passengers 1 pilot/Driver
Armement: 2 Mg 151 20mm's thru the hood and on later version a Mk108/103 center lower hood (By the hood handle!)+ 2 MG17's firing rearward thru exhaust pipes. 1 250 k bomb in rear seat when minus rear passengers.

Little known facts: Desighned from the outset to be very aerodynamic hinting at its future use as a fighter. Also during ground testing it was found to be far more menouverable with a clear veiw over the nose due to the 4 point level configuration.
Plots notes: Our test model Volkswaafe type 1 instantly struck me as beautifully engineered.
Climbing in was simple as all you had to do was open the door and sit down. The veiw all around was great except maybe at the 5 O'clock position (Blind spot). My test craft had three rearveiw mirrors although taking one off the door increased spead substantualy by at least 1/4 of a Kph so it was my first recomendation to remove one if not both side mirrors. The starting mechanism was easy just insert and turn key. The motor always fired up even if badly out of tune and running rough I could always get home, How safe I felt in this new and whonderous machine. The cockpit was laid out nicely and was very simple to understand. Their was 2 guages in the dash right before me. A speedometer and a fuel guage. When I asked the engineer why there were three rudder pedals he stated that one was the Gas pedal, One was the Brake pedal and one was the clutch pedal, although in flight any of them would work as the rudder pedal! Amazing!!!! THe cockpit was much roomier than the Bf-109 I had flown previously but it very much reminded me of my trusty messerschmitt even know the total size was 1/4 of the Bf-109. I would feel safer if the rear window had a gunner like the stuka but all in all I have to give it high marks, The Luftwaffe has done it again!

As stated on the youtube reply
'ery good!

The must have travelled through time too, because the one at 2:17 is a 1970's model'
Humorous and relevant as an old VW driver.

The design is probably now owned by Northrop Grumman.
