Of course-our scientific and industrial capacities were grossly overmodelled!

Yeah they used the manpower cheat, as well the good leadership(Ok Stalin doesn't count http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif) cheat, and the worst offense of cheating ever........the excellent equipment cheat. It's hard to believe that our fourfathers would have stooped to that level just to beat few Nazis. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Germany would have won...

... if it had the industrial production of the USA, the manpower resources of Russia, the fanatical loyalty of the japanese, and with most of the Allied nations on its side.

Germany would have won if they didnt have Morons for leader, mostly you can blame it on Hitler, and Goring. But if they did win, we would all be speaking German.

If Hitler hadn't been so possessed to slaughter everyone from the Jews, Russians to every possible opponent; things might have been different.

Also, he wouldn't listen to any of his council except the one that rules the lake of fire or "Hell fire and damnation". Hitler was the devil's own son, and nothing could prosper under such an evil agenda.

After his armies defeated an enemy the Germans had a team of selected groups to come behind and slaughter, slaughter, slaughter.

We have no comprehension of evil that Hitler prevailed upon everyone. We now live in a much more civilized world for the most part.

The allies cheated by using uber planes and over modeled guns. Besides they would'nt march in a straight line wearing bright red coats with flashing signs.

I think it's funny when people say that "If it wasn't for Hitler Germany would've won the war." Does that really makes sense? I mean, if it wasn't for Hitler there wouldn't have been a war!*

I think what everyone measn is...given the stae of affairs..if Hitler had been willing to back off instead of retaining absolute control and let his military men do thier jobs without fear of recrimination for failure....the war could have turned out differetly.

No, it does not make sense, but its great irony http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I think what everyone measn is...given the stae of affairs..if Hitler had been willing to back off instead of retaining absolute control and let his military men do thier jobs without fear of recrimination for failure....the war could have turned out differetly.

This is true...but can be applied to almost every country.
If Stalin wasn't a paranoid psycho who purged his officer corp and millions others...and hadn't ignored Hitlers Barbarossa build up...
If the French generals hadn't been incompetent and sat at the maginot line while the germans were flanking them
If the British politicians hadn't spent the 30's trying to eliminate Fighter command...(even if Churchill hadn't misheard Dowding telling him to hold 52 squadrons in reserve for the BoB instead of sending them to France - Churchill somehow got the numbers transposed and thought 'hold 25 squadrons' and wasted many in a futile effort in France.)
If all the warnings at Pearl Harbour hadn't been missed so badly...
Even small little things: in the late 30's the Brits were trying to get Canada to fund/organize the BCATP...but McKenzie King, Prime Minister at the time, refused. What if he had agreed...there wouldn't have been a BoB "few" as there would have been tens of thousands of trained Commonwealth pilots ready - instead of starting the BCATP after the war started.

Everyone certainly had their share of "if onlys". Certainly discussions of Hitlers meddling was the biggest one, but only because he lost. If he had steamrolled over Russia and conquered Stalingrad and Moscow, maybe we'd be sitting saying "if only Stalin hadn't purged his officer corp, etc, etc"

Always very interesting discussion though.
