Hello all,

I found a great site which covers all plane crashes/shot downs from all nations during WW2 in the Saarland area (Southwest Germany, French Border).
You'll find there reports of all crashes, combat reports, excavations, meetings and even reports on war crime trials..

You'll be fascinated:

Flugzeugabstürze im Saarland (http://www.flugzeugabstuerze-saarland.de/html/startseite.html)

Just a few numbers:

200 plane crashes
240 crewmembers Killed in Action
2300 civilian casualties(including my grandpa his his son, my uncle)

Great site, thanks!

If you go to aircraft>German there is a .wav file for the engine sound of FW190 - that's the first time i've heard a good-quality recording of an BMW801 - it sounds f**king beautiful! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif
