Oleg I find Forgotten/Ace/Pacific Fighter program to a excellent program especialy when it comes to representing the Eastern Front.

But something has to be done to make this game more Immersing. I have flown many mission for both Theater of war and I find the missions to lack exciment due to the lack od aduequate sounds and not enough AAA involvment.

I flew a mission over the Battle of kusk with a La5 escorting Sturmaviks on a Bombing mission and I find the German AAA more than lazy or not shooting at all.

The same thing can be said about the Pacific theater. You need to fix the Dgen very badly if your are to keep us as consumers of your programs.

The other day I flew a mission from the Mariana campaign for the USN and the Hellcat where been escorted by wildcats and when I reached Tanian Island there where no AAA to greet me.

Please keep every thing within Historical proper prospective. But at the same time you need to enrich the sounds in general.

Salute, MiamiEagle!

You can actually customize the [DGen] more to your liking...to make the action more intense, and the AI more aggressive. Simply copy the following lines and paste them at the very end of your conf.ini file:

As for what each of these lines means and does, refer to this forum thread over at SimHQ (http://www.simhq.com/simhq3/sims/boards/bbs/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=114;t=001908;p=2).

Hope this helps!

Of course, another solution would be to stop relying on [DGen] altogether and instead download Lowengrin's terrific DCG (Dynamic Campaign Generator) program. You can find that here (http://www.lowengrin.com/news.php).

Good luck, and good hunting! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Dumbo_AK32nd thank you for your respond. I appreciate your answering my question.

Where can I find the conf.ini within the program. My next question is how do you install the Lowengrin DCG and do activate it. Lowengrin is very poor in giving us a simple and complete explanation on how to install this fine program.

Perhaps you cam help me and others in this matter.

Thank you very much.

It's in your game's install directory. You can use Notepad to open it.

DCG is very easy to install, all you have to do is use the built-in installer

Salute, MiamiEagle!

The conf.ini file can be found in your game's main folder using Windows Explorer. It will just show up as conf without the .ini suffix attached to it. As Longjocks said, you can use Windows Notepad to open it and edit it.

As for installing Lowengrin's DCG...what HotelBushranger said! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif It comes with a built-in installer, plus a ReadMe file. Hey...I'm a total computer dummy...so if I can figure it out, ANYBODY can! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
