Check out links and news on "Battle of Britain - Storm Of War" at airwarfare.com here (http://www.airwarfare.com/Sims/IL2BOB/index.htm).

The Airwarfare network has the most enthusiastic and knowledgeable sim team outside of the official development team on the web. You'll get the latest news as well as opinions and discussions from other's interested in the sim similarly to yourself.

This is a great shot of the Spitfire transition from the development team:

This will be good for off line play.

"Every AI pilot will have his/her own profile including favorite tactics and combat methods."

In Il-2/PF you can select 'experten' like Nowotny-me262 from the aircraft selection menu and you get 150 points for shooting them down instead of the normal 100. I can't really decide if they're any more challenging than the normal ace selection though, but it looks like in BoB:SoW if you select a Bf-109 G6 with Knocke behind the wheel you'll get an adversary that will fly like Knocke flew. Neat eh?

Oh yeah, silly me. Lets make it Galland in an
E4 then. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif

Current Il2 AI uses the planes strengths so hopefully the SoW will be alot more sophisticated.

I've never heard of a FIAT Br.20 before, so I decided to look it up...it looks very similar to a B-25 doesnt it? Well the front part of the fuselage anyway lol.

We can assume this is only inside the very short range of the Player's AI Bubble.

Remember Oleg saying that External View will only work for nearby aircraft? Well, you are not supposed to see how the AI flies and fights beyond your AI Bubble, if there even is any AI aircraft beyond that range (it could be some kind of rough statistical calculation of combat results, perhaps a third level of AI simplification...ie...you fly over south England and the RAF/Luft AI aircraft flying that day over northern England are simply statistical calculations).

For Offline dogfight shooting, screenshot simulation, and WW2 air combat documentary Media Content Creation Tool for the USA Dogfight Channel, this is "okay." For Offline Dynamic Camapaigns, this could be a gaming disaster in development. Players of Shockwave's BoB2 noticed bizzare happenings in their Offline campaigns that there was no real answer for if I recall. I asked about AI Bubbles on Shockwave forums, but the Devs never talked (granted they never touched the original Rowan campaign programing). I wish Oleg will talk about AI Bubbles, and what goes on other than "simplified AI." Rowan used AI Bubbles in original Rowan BoB and MiG Alley.

I would like to see the Wellington become flyable as soon as possible.

Its a better matchup with the Heinkel (same bomb load) for online wars/mini-wars.
