Well, we don't exactly know who Subject 16 was, his name was never mentioned, personally, I hope we'll find out more about him in Brotherhood, or AC3 when that's released in 2012.

That video was Adam and Eve infiltrating a facility controlled by Those Who Came Before, basically, the first race of Humans, and stealing the Apple (and apparently started a rebellion).

The Hologram basically explained that there was once a race of biengs on Earth that were highly advanced, and they created humans in their own image, as a slave race, and used the Pieces of Eden to control them, since they engineered humans to be suseptible to the energy the peices emit.

She also said that the Human slaves revolted (most likely because of Adam and Eve), and they became so distracted fighting the rebels, they didn't notice the Sun sending out a Solar flare that flipped the EArth's magnetic field, which caused the planet to become unstable, almost destroying it, and she said it was going to happen again soon.

And the Hologram was talking THROUGH Ezio TO Desmond, because she knew he was watching. Her people obviously had tech that let them see into the future.

you're welcome http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif Of course it never happened :P though the Solar Flare thing MIGHT have a grain of thruth to it, some scientists have said over the past couple of years (I think) that the Earth's magnetic field is getting weaker, and is due for a reversal.

Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines takes place a month after the events of the original Assassin's Creed, in Autumn 1191. The game is largely set on the island of Cyprus in two of its cities, Limassol and Kyrenia where players again take on the role of Alta´r, the original ancestral character in Assassin's Creed. Alta´r has travelled to Cyprus from the Holy Land (the setting of the first game) in order to find out why the Templars are gathering there, and to assassinate the last of them. Bloodlines includes more face time with Maria, the female Templar that was spared by Alta´r in Assassin's Creed. The antagonist is Armand Bouchart, who has become the Grand Master of the Templar Order. He seeks the "Apple of Eden", which allows the user to control the minds of people and make them carry out the bidding of whoever is using the Apple. Alta´r has to stop him and other notable Templar leaders such as Moloch "The Bull", Shalim and Shahar (Moloch's sons), Frederick "The Red", and the Dark Oracle, from using the Templar Archive located on the island to further their goals. Oh and remember those codex pages from Altair in AC2? well you get to actually hear and see him write and speak about them over the course of the game http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Subject 16 is a relative of Desmond, which is why he was able to relive Altair's and a little of Ezio's life before he died. He is a VERY important key figure in the series because he was the first to suffer from the "bleeding effect". It allowed him to explore his ancestors' memories without using the Animus. This allowed him to transfer the data of the Adam and Eve video that Desmond and co. will end up watching. Besides that, he was the one that left information about history and how the Pieces of Eden were used.

Ok bleeding effect? I forget what that was lol

it's where your genes cross over with that of your ancestor's, gaining some of their abilities in the process.....it's how desmond got eagle vision just like altair.

Also it isn't sure if subject 16 saw altairs memory's. If so why would they have needed desmond?

I think that subject 16 couldn't control the animus and just saw flashes of ancestors. Like Adam and Eve and perhaps a bit from Altair and Ezio?

That should be a 4th Tennent to the Creed http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

1. Never hurt an innocent.
2. Hide in plain sight.
3. Never compromise the brotherhood.
4. Never sell your copy of an AC game. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

I'd like to know who left those secret messages (glyphs) all around the walls and buildings ?

Probably some ancestor of Subject 16 but who might be that ?

NuclearFuss
09-19-2010, 02:05 PM
It wasn't an ancestor. They were put in the Animus by 16, and Ezio couldn't actually see them. They were just there.

Yeah, Desmond could only collect them because he can control the assassin!

@Anthony - That is Exactly right! The hidden Creed, not invented until the year 2007 when AC1 first game out, telling the story of the original three creeds http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Aha U mean those glyphs are not on the walls and buildings then those glyphs are acctually in Animus ?

It's sounds resonable and logical , I mean Desmond is Subject 17 so it's logical that glyphs (secret messages) left the Subject 16 (the last guy who was in Animus)
