This is a shot of my tail gunner shooting down a Zero. This wouldn’t be too uncommon, but in this case my tail gunner was my 9 year-old nephew. Perhaps the most impressive thing was that he didn’t run the gun dry, ever. His trigger discipline was amazing. He didn’t start shooting until he could smell his target. I actually had to encourage him to hammer the guy instead of doing double taps (I shoot for real and he gets to practice with my Airsoft guns. He knows some stuff). I showed him how to zoom the view in and out so he could line up his shot. He would tell me if the tail was in the way, and he never shot it. I made the mission for this purpose and it worked very well. So well in fact he insisted I add more bad guys to shoot at.

When my son was 2 I let him hold on to the stick with me as he sat on my lap.

Shot down a few friends like that.

HA HA!! You got shot down a 2 year old! I would prod.

"Refering to your maturaty?" they would answer.

Fortunately he is some 60+ years to late to have to do it for real. I am impressed.

I created a profile for my 5 year old nephew w/relaxed flight, as I fly full real. He has his right arm in a cast but the flew quite well w/my Fighterstick. He never crashed once and when he went home he told his dad how his "Unkie" let him fly the propeller and jet a/c (he flew LOMAC too). The kid is a natural and already knows some of the designations of the WWII a/c (just like his Unkie did at that age). http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Get the ole lady to start pumpin em out, or better yet, take fertility drugs to try to get triplets, quads or quins, and you can crew a B 25 and keep it in the family
