I'll admit it. I was one of the whiners who moaned about how the AI gunners on bombers were way to accurate. I jumped for joy when Oleg tuned them down. However now I wish I hadn't since I have found a new pass time.

I get a kick out of being a gunner on a B25. This reminds me of my B17II days. It is much fun to man the top or rear position of a B25 and go after those nasty Zeroes. Unfortunately the AI gunners in my bomber and in the formation hold their fire longer than they should. If you set the gun convergence to 500 or greater you can hit AI planes further out than their little AI brains allow them to open fire. However the AI gunners in the other bombers do not open fire unless fired upon most of the time. They are just way to conservative. They get pummeled by the cannon fire and fall out of formation where they become dead meat.

Oleg can you make the AI gunners more aggressive.

I can't beleive I just said that! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_redface.gif

Thats why fighters had to attack from different angles. Any twit that floats along behind a formation of bombers ain't gonna be a live twit for much longer.

I know an old bloke that used to be a tail gunner in a welli and they usually chose the blokes with the keenest eye sight. "Although they had to hose alot of them out upon return" quote/unquote http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif
