I just got cable internet and was wondering about SH3 online in multiplayer mode. Does anyone have any information on what it's all about and how to join?

Thanks and GOOD HUNTING! ! !

I play on-line a fair amount...you go to multiplayer, Play on Ubisoft, create an account to log on or use an existing account you already have and fill in the info, click ok then either create a game if you want to host or join to be a part of an existing game. that's it

Ahoy Kaleuns!

We are in the midst of a Online Campaign. We develop all of our own missions "in-house" and have an absolute blast.

Last evening, 3/25, we had 20 Kaleun's participating in 2 Flotillas.

Check us out - you won't regret it http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

TAW_Audie, that sounds interesting to me. Last night was my second night playing online (I've played career for one year - started 1940, now it's 1942). The career mode is, I think, a very realistic U-Boat simulation experience. I find that online play can be more "arcade like."

Last night we had eight boats attacking a convoy in 1944 online. One moron had to have his XXI boat and was such a jerk. He actually ended up ramming a destroyer blocking lagitimate shots that myself and two other players had. He then started firing homing torpedoes at me and the other guys. That kind of thing just kills it for everyone.

I would be interested in an online play with kaluens who play it realisticly. In other words, stealth attacks like they used to do. Not attacking on the surface with deck guns blasting from 7,000 meters or ramming ships to sink them or using boats that could not realisticly make it to the combat zone or were never in actual combat.

I'm interested to know your thoughts.

Thanks, take care, and GOOD HUNTING ! ! !

You can check us out Wednesday nights 7pm PST 7:30pm PST game start. The on-line games are pre-set so everyone has the same boats. We also offer a campaign mode for players who wish to be a part of our group.

Ahoy Chief,

Thanx for the reply!

I can assure that our MP play is quite fun and not at all arcade-like :-) We offered a structured, immersive playing environment that is an absolute blast.

We are currently running a campaign that began with the "Happy Times" and will continue on untile the fall of the Kriegsmarine.

Fire me an email @ taw.audie@gmail.com and I'll send some info over about our group.
