As I recall, it didn't get to 400 km/h.

It might be great for Italians but, maybe not for the rest of the world.

1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge,
ye shall be judged: and with what
measure ye mete, it shall be measured
to you again.

Platypus is right, it was only an experimental plane, unarmed and slow.

It would be like modelling the first Gloster jet with a Whittle engine, not much use in a combat sim.

And I'm Italian but there are a lot of other Italian planes I would like to see one day rather than the Campini Caproni.

Interesting aircraft, but as I recall, it wasn't a real jet, and it was just experimental. It had a 900hp piston engine driving a 3-stage ducted fan with an afterburner. I don't even think it went faster than 250mph. Not much of a combat plane. Besides, it is down right Ugly. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif Like SUPERAEREO, I'd rather see other, and cooler Italian aircraft that did partake in the war.

They had a prototype in 1941? that's pretty impressive.

I like the first picture

Engine starting procedue:

Remove tail.
Fuel pump on.
Throw lighted match.
Replace tail.

that jet was the second in the world if i am not mistaking wich i am probabely doing, but for it is time when it came out it was a great achivement, some one shuld model it, just for the fun to fly it and make nice screen shot wiht it, i almost had forgoton about this aircraft, i sure would have ask for some one to model it already

I wouldn't want to see it when we still don't have essential planes in this sim that made an impact on the war. Who wants exotic planes that saw no combat at the expense of planes that truly should be in here?? Heck, I'd rather see yet another version of the 109 over an italian psuedo-jet that
didn't even participate in the war!!! Why not a flyable Me-210 or 410, or the 110C4???? Or maybe the Do-17?? These are planes that are sadly missing.....Hell we still don't have the MC-202 yet!

sorry, but that isn't the first italian jet, the first italian jet plane dated from 1910.
