Is it possible to assassinate any targets without raising the city alert? If so, how exactly is it done?

(Sorry I know this has been asked before but I wasn't able to find a definitive answer. Thanks!)

wtf? I left a post here already. What happened to it?

Anyway. As I said. It's sad but true. I hope they make it possible for the later installments because, at the moment, there isn't really any reward for spending all that time clearing the guards and archers and waiting for a perfect time to strike. I feel like a bit of a div for doing it, but I can't help myself. Give us a city alert free version please Ubi?

k thx

I like taking the time to do it. But I'm used to having to kill everyone and stay unseen for full points on Tenchu so it's kinda' second nature

yea, enjoy the sound of the sliding blade and the spray of blood that follows.. just quivering with excitement here http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/icon_twisted.gif

EDIT: or as malik put it: an assassin always maintains control of his environemt. i guess you can include patience into that... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

yep, its a good sound we should all embrace.
i try to kill them in different ways. cos there a different ways which altair kills them with his hidden blade.
for the first time today i used my short blade to counter attack and stabbed someone in the foot
it was a proud moment which i shall never forget

I haven't even finished my second run through yet

altairego

that hurts, you know -- having your foot stapled to the pavement with a sharp knife

HannahIsMyName
05-25-2008, 10:39 AM
yeah i can imagine it would

A lot of the things he does will hurt. But not for very long

altairego

i like the one where he slashes them across the throat twice.. they just goggle "damn, he's fast!"

HannahIsMyName
05-25-2008, 10:43 AM
yeah, i like it when he does that aswell.
i just counter attack now, its easier, it takes longer tho.
i cant grab break yet tho, which is annoying

I like the one when he stabs them just under the chin

altairego

another cool one is when he grabs the guys head and stabs him right through the brain and then throws him. brain dead before he hits the floor -- "how?..."

I think pretty much all of the Hidden Blade counters roxxors the soxxors really

moreover, i don't think altair wants to assassinate them quietly "a skilled assassin ensures his work is NOTICED BY THE MANY". i guess just so he can show them how out of condition they are. what a wicked man he is!

HannahIsMyName

he is very wicked.
amd so very sexy aswell.

It would be cool if you could assassinate a target with nobody seeing and just leeve, a few mintes later the alarm is rung. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/winky.gif

i think the alarm raises excitement. i mean, you really don't even need to blend and stuff very often when the alarm is off. it's almost like playing the game on a new difficulty because you have to utilize all your abilities, unless you prefer to simply fight your way through. but i don't think fighting your way through everyone is what they intended for you to do, given that there's a blend and gentle push option...
