I got it, and it is everything I expected it to be, and then some.

It seems like alot of people on the RO forums complained about the graphics. Most of these complaints are due to people not adjusting the display settings properly though. Personally, I think the graphics are amazing! However, if you have <1GB of RAM, then you might want to reconsider as RO is VERY RAM hungry. Otherwise it runs smooth on my system.

If you are at all interested in an WWII infantry sim, then I highly reccommend RO. Other WWII games make you feel like you're in a WWII movie, but RO makes you feel like you're in WWII.

System specs:
P4 3 ghz
Radeon 9600 mobility (yes, I have a laptop)
512 mb RAM

Is this loadup to be like HL2, you have to have an internet conneciton to install and play? I noticed on the link it says one needs Steam, thats what HL2 uses to install correct? I ask because I am interested but only have a 56k connection. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

If you have a 56K connection, then I cannot reccommend RO. It is almost entirely a multiplayer game. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

RO should hit retail stores next week. I'm not sure if Steam is required for the retail version though.

I played RO since the first release as a mod for UT. Great game with many realistic features.

But at least the mod relied on online-playing. The bots were rather stupid but extremely deadly.
