I have noticed in the 1946 intro movie, german jets firing off salvos of a/a missiles at massed russian bombers[ copied B 29 ]is it a matter of getting up close, or can these missiles be locked-on?..........cheers

they can't be locked on. you can fire multiple X-4's but you can only control the last one you fired.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

The missiles have to me manually directed at the target (by whire), like a modern TOW missile. The missile has a proximity fuse, so all you have to do is guiding the missile in the right direction.

Only one missile can be guided at any time, so if you have several missiles in the air, only the last one can be guided.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Well, despite what readme says, you can only control the first missile fired, so if you miss with first and fire a second one, you will still be in a control of a first one. If you miss, you have to wait till it burns out before firing second missile.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">
