I have some free time coming up and would very much like to visit some aircraft museums over here in the UK. So which ones are the most worthwhile to visit? In particular I would like to see and take some photos of a De Havilland Mosquito (Mozzie). Any suggestions would be most welcome. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

You'll want to see the prototype (W4050) at Salisbury Hall then:-

G'day DeerHunterUK,

http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif Yeah I'm a bit pressed for time so I thought I would cover a couple of bases. Thanks again for the info guys. I'm already mapping out my journey for this week. I reside in Buckinghamshire so I am not too far away from London and the surrounds. My brand new 5MP digital camera is prepped for action. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I recommend taking a look at the RNAS museum at Yeovilton, down here in the West Country. A good selection of aircraft, exhibits and information dating right back to WW1, well worth a visit http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
