Out of genuine curiosity, for those who had the leaked patch and then switched to the latest release, which do you prefer?

Please no flames. Just a simple answer: 1.2b or 1.2RC.

Thanks

1.2b. Although the Mustang was admittedly too fast at least it could achieve it's top speed. Same for the Jug, it now can't even achieve 360 Mph at altitude. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

1.2beta was so much better all they had to do was reduce the speed of the mustang and fix the me262 at high alt and give the planes the payloads. and new final versions of the map the p40 needed stick pressure reduction and so did the hurricane.

1.2 rc 02 seems to have a whole slew of massive problems from yaks dive speed, zeros, 3 legged donkey version of the mustang the super flipping rolling snap turning planes are back again yaks 190s ki84 zero the i153 has a super dm model again as wekk as the il2 the hurricane 303 were not fixed either which is the reason I hated 1.11 among many other things

I'm pretty happy with the increase VVS dive speeds. In 1.11 it seemed you almost couldn't do a split s without coming apart in a yak or la. In 1.11 you couldn't fly the LA5-FN level at full speed without it shaking. I doubt it was quite that bad. As a disclaimer I usually fly axis planes.(190s and 109s)

The instability of the Mustang in RC01 is absurdly overmodelled.

1.2RC01/2 but....

-make planes harder to shoot down or weapons less effective.

-give FW-190 some of its toughness back, right now it is a fragile joke. The 109 is tougher now and that says ALOT. A balance between 1.2b and 1.2RC01/2 would be good.

-Give the P-51 a little more juice up high.

-It seems like the La-5/7 is one of the only planes that actually got tougher, bring it back in line with others and then increase all of the planes toughness back to the way it was (or lower weapon effectiveness).
