View Full Version : Glorious MPH instead of Evil KPH

Now, as we all know, the metric system was invented by evil European despots intent on the destruction of all that is decent in mankind. The Imperial mile, on the other hand, is the measurement of liberty and human freedom.

So, that being the case, what I want to know is how can I get the speedbar to tell me how fast I am going in God's own measurement, rather than in the devilish language of KPH and meters?

I know that this was never possible in FB, but I was watching a track file in PF which actually had the speedbar in Knots rather than KPH. So, it must be possible. I've looked at the options panel, and at the conf.ini, but to no avail. Anyone know what can be done?

Don't have PF but I heard it was a toggle key. So you just have to bind the key to make it switch.

I'll be sticking with Metric thanks http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

VW-Icefire, how can you use the measures of the Euro-Commies when you also have a sig which incorporates the graceful lines of a fighters used by the allies, who were engaged in a great struggle to contain the metric system?

Switch over to Imperial, there is still good in you.... I can sense it.

****, they even forgot to implement the real japanese speed unit in the game: sake bottles per moon and the cowboy yankee speed measurement unit: horseshoe per year. And the french speed unit isn't even there (baguette par si├┬Ęcle). How come? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/cry.gif How could they?

You're correct, you can bind a key to change between Knots, MPH, or KPH.

Difficult to know whether to use knots or Mph. But finally we are rid of the tyranny of the metric nonsense.

Waldo- You have to include your grandpa simpson picture. That was one of all my time favorite posts the last time you used it.

I don't need either one. I judge the speed by how hard my scarf is blowing.

I want my national measure system in the game: KP2BTCPM (King Phillip II's bellybutton-to-balls per moment). http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

Ummm... Doesn't "Imperial" refer to the standard measurement system for the British Empire?

Only one country in the world continues to use the old imperial system...
think what you will...

Metre... Long live BNA!
