No. Planes are limited by the game engine. Objects are limited by available memory and the game engine. KickA$$ system or not that would not matter. IIRC the max number of AI planes at one time is 32.
My run of the mill AMD64 X2 4000+ with ATI X1950 2GB DDR2 can handle that easy. I can throw thousands of objects on the map at the same time. No problem.

i'm not talking about online which i'm pretty sure you can load more 32. you can load as many AI planes offline as your system can handle with UQMG

MaxMhz is not speaking about the netcode.

The engine was designed 10 years ago and even with its aim for future machines the engine is still limited. I've flown dogfight-missions on testservers with 100 planes. It is possible, but the engine was recognizeble pushed to its limit. AFAIK there was a test-mission with 120 planes aroud quite a while ago. Even on the fastest computer the workload from the engine was simply way too high, so it was a dia-show.

Cool. I didn't know that. Do you have a link to that mission? I'd sure like to try that! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

I flew with over a hundred players in the finland server I believe. For me it was as smooth as always.

"For Additional Help

During this tutorial, you should not need to use the additional help, unless it is a part of the tutorial itself. The Help menu in UQMG contains a lot of good information, but mainly I recommend using the yellow "?" buttons for specific help.

If you have problems with UQMG you can also go to the new UQMG Support Forum at AirWarfare.com:

A Quick Description

What exactly is UQMG? UQMG is a quick mission generator that fills a gap between PF's QMB and FMB. UQMG is easy like QMB, albeit with countless more features, some of which are as advanced as the ones in FMB. UQMG does things that QMB does not, most notably:

Creates Coop and DF Arena in addition to SP

More than 32 planes (over 20 Thousand, yes 20000, depending on your PC)

Start on base, water, carrier, or air with several possibilities

49 Maps from IL-2 to PF (constantly being updated)

ALL aircraft in IL-2 to PF (updated as new PF patches are released)

Use composite flights as easily as normal flights:

o Several Tug/Glider combinations

o TB3+I16 SPB Zveno

o Fw190+Mistel

o Betty+Baka

o Historical Ace flights without Ace repetition

Select ground units easily or automatically match them with scenario and year

Scenery based on PC capability

Mission winning conditions/objectives"
