Remember these from when you were a kid?:

It'd be great if we were to one day get humans as static objects to liven up our aerodromes. Maybe even types that when placed, hover 6ft off the ground so that they can appear standing on the wings of parked aircraft.

Even better would be the "running man" as an object in the vehicles category so we could assign waypoints to them and have the little buggers running all over the shop. When they reach their last waypoint they could throw themselves flat as they always do. If we could choose skins the same way we choose them for our pilots we could have ground crews of all nationalities represented too.

It might be of more universal appeal than all those V2's and railway guns.

Just a thought...

That would be immersion boost no doubt about it. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Even that Blazing Angels game for the Xbox has little men running around in the screenshots. I thought that was the neatest thing to see people running around when you dive down to attack a target. I am not at all saying that this game is anything to get excited about but just that one aspect really impresses me...

That would be awsome. I really wish Oleg would consider doing to this game, what he has talked about doing with Bob.

Making it a two version game, with one for use modders. I can't begin to imagin how much better this already great sim would be.

Static ground crews would be nice, along with some static AC with the hoods off and various parts missing. I would be kinda odd though, seeing them just stand there, as I zoomed in to take their lives.

To make them worth while, they would have to have some kinda amimation, falling to the ground when under attack.

Imagin screaming down the runway in your 109 and seeing a line of LW machanics watch. Or releasing the chocks on you zeke, and seeing Japanese Sailors wave their hats in the air. How much would that add to immersion???

Speech bubbles perhaps?

"Donnerwetter! Vere ist der Luftwaffe?" etc etc http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Try placing the static mortar crew object under an aircraft. It looks fairly convincing, with better placement...

Yeah, I've been doing that. But its got me wanting more variation. All the parked aircraft can't have duff undercarriage at the same time... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif
