You're screwed, dude.

The only way to get more video memory is to get a new video card. The DV9000 is a laptop, video is integrated. You're borked.

Unless... Unless HP is so radically lame that they only use Shared video memory, which would mean it cuts a slice off of your system memory to dedicate it to video. In which case, all you'd need to do is to cut a bigger slice, ie change the Shared Video Memory setting. In which case, you'd also want to upgrade your RAM, by buying another chip.

Of course, the likelihood of HP being that colossally stupid is.. Well, okay, maybe you have a shot. ;-)

btw, it seems that "dv9000" is not specific enough for HP to give me actual information. There should be a 2 or 3 letter code after the "dv9000" Giving that info would help determine specifically what the source of your VRAM is. But since you're privy to the info and I'm not, here's a link to HP's page with links to all models in the dv9000 series: CLICK ME (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/prodTopCategory?product=1842186&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=)

That's not something you can easily do on a laptop, it might be best to forget about running the game on that computer.
